How To Order Your Voiceover Recording

Step 1

Get in touch.

Send me an email explaining your project. Let me know:
- What you need a voiceover for (eg. tv, radio, online commercial, training video, award ceremony, other)
- The length of the script
- What you want it to sound like (eg. formal and business-like / friendly and casual, etc).
It really helps if you can send me web-links to examples of things that you want it to sound like.
- Your budget
- Your deadline/s

If you send me the script (or an extract) I can provide a demo read.

Step 2

I will contact you with a quote (and demo read, if requested).

Step 3

If you are happy with my quote, then email me back with confirmation and attach your final script.

Make sure the script is 100% correct and fully signed-off, at this stage.
Confirm any requests you may have for alternative takes.
Any alterations after this point may incur additional charges to those quoted.

Step 4

I will record the full script and send you an audio file of the recording (MP3 / Wav / other) via We Transfer (or alternative platform, as preferred).
I might also send you alternative takes of certain words/phrases, to eliminate the need for re-records later, and save you time.

You can then listen to the recording/s.

If you feel that I have made any errors, or something doesn’t quite sound right to you, email back with specific re-recording instructions. 
I will re-record, as per your instructions, and send you your revised files.

I offer one round of adjustments, free-of-charge.
Any additional alterations after this may incur an additional charge but, one round of adjustments is usually enough.

Step 5

If you are completely satisfied with the recording then my work is done and I will send you an invoice.
My payment terms are 30 days.
